We’re doing the hand-picking this Wednesday, selecting choice wines in various pink hues to delight, satiate, and satisfy those who are harvest-weary and those who simply want to close out hump day sipping Rosé favorites from the Cadet cellar. Refreshing, textured, and juicy Rosé is just what you need. Gather your friends to get the harvest lowdown, relax, and enjoy a delicious flight. 
 

 

 

Paradigm proprietors Ren and Marilyn Harris and their fantastic team are no strangers to our Wednesday revelry; they join us to share their wines annually and always bring heaps of local friends AND the party! This time around, they’ll be pouring their 2023 Rosé, as well as debuting the 2021s — Zinfandel, Merlot and Cabernet Franc — from their stunning 55-acre Oakville estate. The Burger Truck will be pulling into the alley to serve up some delicious eats and DJ Kia will be spinning the bangers. Juicy burgers and lush wines…our mouths are watering! This one’s going to be a treat. 

 

 

We’re featuring a flight of bubbly from not one, but two legacy Champagne houses this week with Joshua Benjamin from Demeine Estates here to share all the effervescent info on these well-established producers. 
 

Philipponnat is cementing over 500 years as winegrowers with 20 hectares of estate vineyards in the heart of Champagne. Today, Philipponnat’s organic/biodynamic farming and winemaking is overseen by the family’s 15th generation. Similarly, Francois Legras was born into a family with 400 years of grape growing experience in Champagne. Together with his wife Brigitte Haas, he founded Legras et Haas, farming 18 hectares of estate-grown fruit. Presently, Legras et Haas is run by their three sons who continue the family’s commitment to expressing the beauty of the region. You know the way to our hearts and we know the way to yours. Come share in the bubbly love! 

 

Andrew Healey, the Irish Whiskey LAD, is a Dublin native who grew up in the days when there were only two distilleries on the island. His journey working in and around the wine industry took him to five countries over three decades, and it was in Napa (of all places!) where Andrew dove deeply into the world of his homeland’s whiskey. Andrew will be here this Wednesday leading an entertaining seminar that includes three pours of Irish Whiskey: Fercullen Falls, Redbreast 12yo Single Pot Still, and Bushmills 12yo Single Malt, paired with three local cheese preparations:
Carmody, Humboldt Fog, and Mt. Tam.
